Crisp Wisdom from the Apple Himself

From the Visionary's Stanford Commencement Address...

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

“I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.”

It's funny how someone else's wisdom hits you like a ton of bricks when you least expect it and most need it.  It's also funny that, as I sit here typing away on a Mac, that I wouldn't be able to do this without Jobs'  pure ingenuity, vision, and edge. What an incredible man with incredibly insights.  I hope the world recognizes the revolution he started and the legacy that lives on through his company, his friends, his family, his coworkers and his products. Thanks, Steve.  I needed to hear and think about all this today.  Rest peacefully.  You'll undoubtedly be remembered forever.
