When you get told no

Today, I got told no.  And it didn’t feel good.

The job hunt is tough, and it’s just beginning. I knew that it wouldn’t be a cake walk, but I’m finding that getting told no is a little harder to swallow than I anticipated.  In starting this journey, I expected to apply for many, many jobs and only hear back from a few, but the first no stings.

HOWEVER

I wouldn’t be Amanda Gulino if I didn’t reassess, refocus, and regroup. So, that’s precisely what I’m going to do.  I’m going to remain focused, dedicated, and work my booty off to find the job of my dreams.  The place I eventually work will be the place that I’m meant to be.  I can’t ask for more than that.  I’ll take a few no’s to find my place. :)
